Repeat Prescriptions

You must order repeat medications personally or via a family member with consent. Unfortunately, 3rd parties such as pharmacies are unable to order these on your behalf. Please allow 72 hours for the script to be issued. If you receive repeat medication you can order your prescription using one of the following methods:

Online Service – You will need online access codes, please ask us for these.

With effect from the 23rd March 2020, the building will be closed for script collection, leaving in discharge letters and the collection of letters. Prescriptions, sick lines etc can be collected by patients at our side window to the left at two separate times of the day. Please try not to ring us at these times.

11.00am & 12.00am & 3.30pm & 4.30pm for Patients

 

Please leave letters and script requests in the post box to the side.

We want to help community pharmacies who are facing unprecedented demand helping deliver scripts to our patients and welcome access for pharmacy collection between 10.00am – 5pm .

We have a useful section on our website for prescriptions and Covid 19 updates. Always dial 111 for Covid 19 queries.

Due to the extra pressures placed on the practice please allow 72 hours to process repeat medications, this allows us more time to process your request and reduces your waiting time.

At Kerrsland Surgery we are responsible for the issue of the prescription only not the collection.

Did you know many pharmacies offer a facility to collect a prescription on your behalf?

With effect from the 30.03.2020 we are relaxing our policy on having a consent form completed.  When ringing the repeat medication line please leave details of pharmacy you wish to use or speak to one of the admin team.

Or the form can be downloaded on this link and left into the surgery. Unfortunately a dual facility is unavailable.ie a pharmacy collects some and a patient collects others.
