    GP APPOINTMENTS NOW AVAILABLE TO BOOK ONLINE

    As a Patient of Kerrsland Surgery, you will now be able to book GP appointments online, these are subject to availability and restricted times only.

    You must be a registered Patient Access user to avail of this facility, please contact reception to get your registration document, these can be posted to you or collected from reception.

    Please note that should you wish to cancel your appointment you will need to contact reception on  028 9029 6600.

    Please note that longer appointments or specialised clinics require different appointment times and you may be asked to rebook if the incorrect booking has been made, please contact reception if you need advice 028 9029 6600.

    The Doctor will not carry out Asthma/ COPD/ Smear/ Dabetic reviews, these must be booked with sepcialised Practice Nurses and a longer appointment is required.

    Appointments are always at a premium with a doctor so we appreciate notice of cancellations as we can make use of these appointments, even at short notice. If you have a complex problem, or wish to discuss several conditions, please ask our receptionist for a longer appointment.

    Open Surgery, is suitable for sudden illness or brief consultations. It is not necessary to phone reception before attending. Patients are seen on a first come, first serve basis. This is a strict one problem per patient surgery and is not appropriate to request repeat medication during this time.

    Open Surgery will be limited to 60 patients on Monday and 40 patients on Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri, this is to allow for the GP’s to see people who need urgent care and help like Pregnant mums, Elderly and the Long term sick. 

    Open Surgery runs each morning from:
    8.30am–10.30am (Mon–Fri) 

    The practice treatment room is open from 8.30 to 10.30 and patients are not required to make an appointment. Blood samples and investigations cannot be taken after 2.00pm because the Ulster Hospital laboratory collection is made at 2.30pm. Please note that there is also limited availabilty for the Nurse Morning Treatment Room.

    Patients who require ear syringing, dressing changes, suture removal and injections need to book an appointment in the afternoon treatment room between 2.00pm and 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
