Pneumococcal Vaccine |

Pneumococcal Vaccine is now recommended for everyone aged 65 years or over. It is also recommended for those under 65 who fall into one or more of the following risk groups:
heart disease chest disease renal disease liver disease diabetes suppression of the immune system
Pneumococcal vaccine is usually required just once in a lifetime. It can be given at the same time as the Influenza vaccine.
If you are eligible for the Pneumococcal Vaccine you should receive a personal invitation by post. If you do not receive this and you think that you ought to be vaccinated please contact reception.
